A true gem in the heart of Wimborne Minster, the Tea Room is set in the idyllic garden of the museum. It features a light and spacious dining area that opens out onto a seated patio area. Take a moment during your visit to enjoy a cup of tea or coffee and savour the sights and smells of the beautiful garden. Our team of friendly volunteers will be pleased to serve you a range of light refreshments at your table.
Thanks to a grant from the Heritage Emergency Fund, the museum has been able to upgrade the Tea Room to make it more open and friendly. As well as a new servery, we have new tables and chairs. This allows us to use the space in a more flexible way and seat individuals, families and groups of different sizes in a safe manner.
Depending on the season, it is possible to sample different fruit and vegetables from the garden. These are often available for purchase on site.
