We live and work in Wimborne and haven't visited the MED since it's major refurbishment a couple of years ago. You... don't always realise what gems you have on your doorstep! We were so impressed. It's full of information, photos and interactive touch screens which are full of brilliant pictures of old Wimborne. We wanted to see the extra exhibition they have at the moment called Tinker Tailor Cappucino Maker. It showcases local and independent businesses in the town which is really nice to see next to the historical images and exhibits. For a small town Wimborne is really lucky to have it and we would definitely recommend a visit.☺️🙋‍♀️read more

I was only in the garden and cafe, for a private function, so I can't comment on the rest, hence just three stars.... ... but the parts I saw were wonderful. We had a lovely day.read more
