Doughnut Economics – A TED Talk and Discussion with Rob Pearce
Date: Sunday 18th April
Categories: Zoom Talk
Price: £5 / £3
We should not treat the earth as a consumable resource. Doughnut Economics is a theory, developed by Kate Raworth from Oxford University, which frames humanity’s 21st-century challenge as ensuring that no one falls short of life’s essentials while collectively we live within the ecological limits of this one planet.
This is an online event but there are expenses to cover. Please consider paying £3 if you are watching alone or £5 per device for multiple viewers. The Festival will forward any income in excess of covering costs to support the WImborne Green Festival October 2021.
The Box Office will close at 4pm on the day of the event to allow enough time to send the Zoom access link to those who have booked.
This event is part of Wimborne Spring Green Festival (17-24 April), a week of online green-themed events encouraging us to celebrate nature, live more sustainably and care for our local environment. For more information, visit wimbornegreenfestival.com or our Facebook page @wimbornegreenfestival
