Be inspired by the museum’s archives of landscapes and buildings of Wimborne and the surrounding area. You will be learning slab building, incising skills and exploring textures to create a tea-light holder shaped like a building or landscape of your choice. You may be inspired by Walford Mill or Horton Tower.
This is a friendly relaxed workshop suitable for beginners or those who have enjoyed the tactile nature of clay before. Tiles will be kiln fired and ready for collection about two weeks later.
If Government guidelines prevent the workshop from taking place, don’t worry, you will not miss out. We will either re-schedule a workshop, or package a takeaway of the session and deliver to you. You can have your own tutorial by zoom. We can still collect and fire your work.
